561,036. Aircraft planes; stopping way. BAYLEY, J. Dec. 10, 1942, No. 17588. [Class 4] The wings of an aeroplane, as shown in under-plan Fig. 2, are formed underneath with a cavity deepest at the point 5 and lessening towards the outer end of the wing and towards the trailing edge 7 until it fades out entirely, the deepest part at any crosssectional position, such as x, being just behind the leading edge 8. Propellers 10 for use in landing are placed behind the main propellers and are rotatable in a direction to arrest the motion of the plane.
