Abstract

560,949. Head or neck wear. KISS, E. Oct. 24, 1942, No. 14969. [Classes 63 and 141] An article of wearing-apparel which may be worn on the head or round the neck in many arrangements comprises a strip 12 of fabric having a medial portion 3 of one side gathered by an elastic cord, the opposite medial portion pleated at 5, and a trapezoidal flap 7 secured to this portion. The article may be wrapped about the head leaving the top un'covered, the part 3 being at the back of the crown 'and the flap hanging -between the shoulders. Or the whole may be moved forward, the part 3 being at the forehead and the ends of the strip secured under the chin. The flap may be folded in various ways. The strip and flap may be of different colours or patterns on the two sides. As neck-wear the flap may be in front or behind. The ends of the strip may be passed through an elastic ring to secure them.
