[Class 15 (ii)] [Also in Group V] Hydraulic cement clinker is ground with the addition of, e.g. up to ¢ per cent. of a -COOR compound of the formula C 6 H 3 -Y where -X R is a metal, hydrogen, ammonium, or an organic radical, X is a group with replaceable hydrogen, a derivative of same, or a group without replaceable hydrogen, and Y is hydrogen or a group with replaceable hydrogen or a first derivative thereof, together with, e.g. up to ¢ per cent. of a wetting agent, e.g. a fatty alcohol alkali metal sulphate such as lauryl alcohol sodium sulphate, or a compound of the formula CH 2 -R<SP>1</SP>-COR 2 where R<SP>1</SP> is 0 or CH 2 -MSO 3 NH, R<SP>2</SP> is an aliphatic group and M an alkal<SP>1</SP> metal; or polyglycerol esters.
