557,186. Carbonated beverages. CROWN CORK & SEAL CO., Inc. May 5, 1942, No. 6057. Convention date, June 25, 1941. Drawings to Specification. [Class 14 (i)] A method of preparing carbonated beverages consists in diluting syrup with water to reduce the viscosity of the syrup, then de-aerating the mixture to the desired degree, and subsequently subjecting it to carbonation. Preferably, the de-aerating is effected immediately after the dilution.
