556,497. Pigments, SLONIM, C. May 20, 1942, No. 6861. [Class 95] A method of preparing a pigment mixture of green chromium oxide and barium sulphate comprises mixing a solution of an alkali metal sulphate with a solution of barium sulphide and then, while the resulting precipitate of barium sulphide is in suspension, mixing with the suspension a solution of an alkali metal chromate, and thereafter separating the solid material and calcining it.
