552,812. Packaging tape. YOUNG, A. W. Oct. 21, 1941, No. 13524. [Class 94 (i)] [Also in Group XL] Tape 16, Fig. 2, coated on one side with adhesive 18 and on the other side with luminescent material 17 is wound into a roll with a strip 19 of paper &c. to prevent adhesion of the convolutions. In another form, the adhesive tape may be completely enclosed between two strips joined at their edges. Preferably the strip in contact with the luminous side of the tape is also coated with luminescent material and is opaque. The luminous surface of the tape may be coated with a transparent paint.
