[Class 20 (ii)] An improvement. in, or modification of the. invention of Specification 457,122 comprises the use of resilient or flexible straps between the props to avoid permanent. distortion under excessive loading, and loose hingeing at the ends to the support caps on the props. The straps b may be of flat strip resilient metal and corrugated, or may be built, up into a leaf spring and the ends are curved over and adapted loosely to engage recesses provided in caps a resting on the heads of the. props. The recesses in the caps may be provided with boundary walls a<SP>1</SP> and the abutting surfaces of the recesses and the straps may be corrugated transversely to interfit.
