551,601. Range-finders. AGA-BALTIC AKTIEBOLAG. Feb. 26, 1942, No. 2522. Convention date, March 19, 1941. [Class 97 (i)] In a stereoscopic rangefinder relative displacement of the two images is corrected by means of two rotatable mirrors. Fig. 2 shows one of the eye-pieces 28 receiving rays which pass axially along the tube 10 of the instrument to be reflected by a mirror 19 on to a mirror 20 and thence through a scale 27 to the eyepiece. The mirrors 19, 20 of one image-forming system may be rotatable on perpendicular shafts 31, 35, Fig. 3, by means, respectively, of an arm 32, spring 33, and screw 34 carrying a knob 30, and of an arm 36, spring 38, screw 37, and knob 29. The mirrors 21, 22 of the other system may be similarly adjustable, or one adjustable mirror may be provided in each system.
