Abstract

550,801. Overalls; aviators suits &c. TAYLOR, E. H., and BAXTER, WOODHOUSE & TAYLOR, Ltd. April 22, 1941, No..5199. [Class 141] [Also in Group XI] A one-piece aviator's suit, overall &c. in which a ack et 1 and a trousers portion 2 are permanently or detachably connected together is provided with elastic or partly elastic braces 13, the arrangement being such that, in wear, the jacket becomes bloused. The braces are adjustable, and may be detachable from the suit, and they are maintained in place by channel pieces 32, releasable tags, or the like on the inside of the jacket portion. The suit may be electrically-heated, as by means of an electrically-heated detachable lining 6, Fig. 3, the heating elements of which are preferably of the kind described in Specification 537,351, [Group XI], and openings in the jacket and trouser portions are closed by sliding clasp fasteners, preferably the kind described in Specification 558,802, [Group XXV]. The heating elements have contacts 8 in the form of press-stud connectors conveniently grouped for engagement by complementary connector parts 9 on a pad 10 provided with a lead 11 and connector 12 for attachment to an accumulator or other current source Specification 407,445 also is referred to.
