[Class 37] Spacing and cooling plates 3, to be fitted between each cell or certain cells in a rectifier assembly have alternative locations such as rivet holes, asymmetrically arranged along one edge, whereat connecting lugs 11, 12 may be attached, or, by reversing the plate, a further series as 11<1>. By this means, those lugs which are to be connected together to obtain certain arrangements of cells in rectifying circuits, may be arranged directly behind one another so as to be connected by straight bars or wires along notches 15.
