[Class 25] A chimney'top structure comprises a number of hollow box-like elements 1 assembled side by side on the chimney-head 2 each element being formed on its abutment face or faces with abutment ribs 10 and on its exposed face or faces with an upwardly directed conduit 4 permitting wind currents to set up ejector action in the upwardly convergent flue passages 3. The cavities between the elements may be closed at the top by filler blocks 8. A precast concrete sectional base member 5 may be seated on the chimney head 2.
