548,154. Slabs and tiles. BOWLER, T. G., WALKER, J., and WALKER (ARCHITECTURAL DECORATIONS), Ltd., J. May 8, 1941. No. 5969. [Class 87 (i)] A plaster tile or slab comprises a flat body 31, Fig. 3, with fabric reinforcement 26, Fig. 2, such as hessian, and stiffening ribs 28, 29, 30 with wooden lath reinforcement arranged T-fashion, the transverse rib 30 having an overhanging or drip formation and recesses. The slab is moulded in a mould 20, Fig. 2, formed by the use of a plaster pattern 5, Fig. 1, having longitudinal ribs 6, 7 and drip formation rib 9, the latter rib being separately formed and secured to the end recesses 8 by means of plaster slurry ; drip recesses or grooves 10 are provided alongside in the adjacent end of the ribs 6, 7.
