543,880. Delivering pellets, capsules &c. from containers. CHANDLER A. J. G. March 28, 1941, Nos. 4236 and 5384. [Class 18] A container adapted to deliver singly pellets, tablets, capsules &c. is provided with a moulded plate 1 between which and a surrounding container 8 articles 14 are stored in a single layer. Projections 2 from the plate define channels along which the articles move to an exit at the bottom. In the back of plate 1 is a recess containing a slide (not shown) actuated by a spring-returned fingerpiece 9 projecting through the container wall and carrying three projections 7, one of which obturates or frees the exit, and another obturates or frees a sloping passage leading to the exit passage, while the third disturbs the main contents to facilitate their flow. Modified forms are also described in one of which the outer container is provided by a wrapper and in another of which plate 1 has contained articles and projections on both sides so that an article is delivered on each stroke of the slide.
