1,046,136. Delivering measured quantities of granular material. ARTHUR DOUGLAS Ltd. March 22, 1965, No. 12118/65. Heading B8N. A dispenser for granular material substantially as described in Specification 988,059, is modified by having an additional hole 14a located in the channel 7 and adapted to cooperate with the back edge 21 of the slide in order to clear any stray particles of material being dispensed which have become trapped behind the slide. The slide may also be formed with ribs on its upper and side surfaces in order to reduce friction and with ribs 20 on its back edge to prevent jamming.
