[Class 70] A moulded article is made by mixing sawdust, starch and colophony with water to form a plastic mass and submitting to pressure and a temperature of about 180‹ C. The pressure may be periodically released to allow escape of steam, or the mixture may be passed between hot rollers. Colouring agents may be added and the products covered with decorative paper, or painted.
