Abstract
302,328. Peyret, P. Dec. 16, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Ornamenting.-Texti1e fabrics and ribbons are decorated by the application of a thin skin of p1astic substance having a mother-of-pearl effect. A product stated to be known under the name of " mother-of-pearl lacquer " may be used. Part or the whole of the material may be covered, and the application may be made by any suitable process, either in a press or rolling mill, or in any other manner. The application may be effected by the use of solvents such as ethyl 1actate, ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, or ce11u1ose acetate. For cold application, ethyl 1actate is preferred.
