[Class 2 (ii)] In a process for forming films, from solutions of cellulosic materials, or rubber derivatives in organic solvents, by casting upon a belt, the casting surface upon the belt is formed of polyvinyl alcohol. The belt is formed of fabric or rubber and may be undercoated with gelatin plasticized with polyglycerol.
