538,896. Snow ploughs. ROADLESS TRACTION, Ltd., and JOHNSON, P. H. March 21, 1940, No. 5323. [Class 107] A snow plough for attachment to. tractors consists of a blade or Loard 1 fitted at an angle at the rear of the vehicle on arms.2; 3 which are rockably-mounted on a cross-shaft 6 between the vehicle frame members 7, 8. The extended ends of the blade 1 are tied to the vehicle by strainer-wires 9, 10. A winch 13 is provided for raising the device clear of the ground by means of a rope 14 connected at 16 to a cross-beam 17. The upper and lower edges of the blade are reinforced by angle-irons 18, 19.
