Abstract

536,365. Lamp-holders. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Nov. 9, 1939, No. 550/41. Convention date, Nov. 9, 1938. Divided out of 536,336. [Class 38(i)] A holder for tubular lamps having a pair of contact-pins projecting from each cap comprises an insulating body 11 slotted to receive the pins and having contact members 45, 46 within the body so arranged that the contact portions lie within the slot as described in Specification 536,336, is formed with one slot 43 only in each holder the contact portions 51 of the members 45, 46 being spaced apart a distance corresponding to the spacing of the contact-pins. The members 45, 46 are located by means of projections 47, 48 and secured by wax 50. A separate slotted cover 13 may be fitted.
