[Class 61(ii)] [Also in Group XXII] A cork sleeve 11 is held whilst a spindle &c. is forced therein by segmental jaws 9. connected by pins 23 to plungers 20 guided radially in the frame 2 and actuated to grip the sleeve in a resilient manner by cam shaped leaf springs 25 carried by a rotatable casing 17 held in position by a snap ring 18 and provided with an operating handle 19, the end of the cork sleeve being hoisted against an end stop in two parts 8, 15 secured by a clamp 7.
