Abstract

534,846. Gloves. YOUL, P. R. April 22, 1940, No. 7184. [Class 141] A protective glove, particularly for use by persons engaged in heavy manual labour, comprises an inner gauntlet mitten 1, Fig. 3, an outer mitten hand cover 2, Fig. 1, and a pad 5, Fig. 2, of sponge or solid rubber, felt, cork, or metal, adapted to be placed between the two mittens, as shown in Fig. 5. The parts may be secured together by snap fasteners, readily removable stitching &c. or they may be left separate from one another. The outer mitten may extend only over the back portion of the inner mitten.
