Abstract

532,843. Feeding sheets to edge - binding machines &c. ASSOCIATED DRAWING MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT, Ltd., and SMITH, W. Sept. 21, 1939, No. 26350. [Class 42 (i)] [Also in Group XVI] Paper and other sheets are fed beneath an inclined friction roller 10 to an edge-binding or other machine. The roller is spring pressed against the sheet and keeps the sheet up to the side guide 9. As shown, rolls 7 rotated by a. crank handle 8 draw the sheets past the guide 9 and a binding strip 4 from reel 5. The binding strip 4 is bent over the edge of the sheet by a notched guide.
