[Class 18] Wrapping or other paper 4 is delivered to the surface of a packing table &c. 1 from one or more rolls located beneath the table and delivering through one or more slots 3, provided with springs 5. A knife 8 with an inclined cutting edge at each side is traversed across the table between cheeks 10 located in a groove in the table to sever the paper. The knife is attached to a cord running round the table over pulleys and a finger-piece attached to this permits the blade to be traversed.
