[Class 4] Means for the intake or discharge of air at the boundary layer of an aircraft wing includes means so arranged that a different intake or discharge of air takes place over adjacent areas of a wing. As shown, air is taken in through a conduit having apertures 4 which are disposed adjacent the hinge axis of a movable surface on the wing. The apertures nearer the fuselage are smaller than those more remote or alternatively, are formed of wire netting of smaller mesh.
