Abstract
529,623. Aerial warfare. WOCHER, M., FLUCK, F., and NIEDERMANN, J. June 5, 1939, No. 16448. [Class 9 (ii)] Hostile aircraft 2 are attacked by other aircraft 1 by the latter throwing into the path of flight of the attacked aircraft nets 3, which are provided with one or more round or box-kite shaped parachutes 4 at their upper edges. The nets are loaded with weights disposed in rows in the lower half of the net, the loading in the rows being progressively heavier towards the lower edge of the net. The nets are housed in chambers 6 in the wings of the aircraft, these chambers being closed by pivoted flaps 7, or sliding doors which, when closed, lie in the surface of the wing.
