[Class 17 (ii)] The leather &c. covering b of a foot-arch support is detachably secured to the metal plate a by means of the engagement of punched-up projections c<SP>2</SP> on arms c<SP>1</SP> of a thin spring metal plate c riveted to the covering with recesses a<SP>1</SP> or holes in the metal plate. A detachable rubber protecting pad b may be sprung over the front end of the support.
