Foot-arch supports.-A foot-arch support comprises a dished heel portion 9, the concavity extending up the arch and beyond the crown to the line 4 - - 4 in Fig. 1. The front end of the support is convex as shown in Fig. 3 which is a section on the line 3 - - 3 in Fig. 1. The support may be built up of one or more plates of metal, horn, &c. and a covering of leather, celluloid, &c. may be provided. The space beneath the support may be filled with spongy rubber.
