529,215. Shaft couplings. DEAN, C. B., (trading as IRVING & CO.), and HART, P. F. May 25, 1939, No. 15506. [Class 80 (ii)] A series of blind rollers C are coupled together for simultaneous operation by co-operating members A, B fixed to adjacent ends of the rollers, one member having a flattened extremity a' to engage a correspondingly shaped socket b in the other member, and a shank or bearing portion a<1> between two shoulders a<2> a<3>, to engage in bearing recesses d, d' formed in a supporting plate D and in a strip D' removably secured in a recess d<2> in the plate D. If the rollers C are spaced widely apart, an intermediate rod having members A and B may be arranged between the rollers.
