The alternating current source T is connected to the relay coil E through a rectifier G so that the contacts e only interrupt the carrier source F once per cycle, and an impedance A which may consist of a resistance, condenser, or resistancecondenser combination is connected in parallel with the rectifier to ensure that the relay releases every cycle of the source T.
