524,678. Lifeboats. ELLIOTT, J. Dec. 30, 1939, No. 33088. [Class 113 (ii)] An enclosed lifeboat is subdivided transversely by transverse bulkheads 5 with watertight doors 6. Ballast and trimming tanks 3 are placed beneath the floor and in combination with tanks associated with circular seats 9 are employed to vary the trim of the craft from a horizontal to a vertical position.
