Abstract

522,718. Knee and elbow pads. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and AINSWORTH, G. B. Dec. 14, 1938, No. 36441. Addition to 504,288. [Class 81 (ii)] In a knee &c, pad of the kind described in the parent Specification and comprising an outer casing 1 of hard rubber and an inner cushion 2 of sponge rubber the pad is secured to the wearer's limb by straps having parts which cross each other behind the knee. In the construction shown in Fig. 1 a strap 5 passing through slots in the lower portion of the pad carries buckles 7 at each end which are engaged by the ends of a strap 5a passing through slots in the upper portion of the pad. Specifications 332,525 and 332,526, [both in Class 70], also are referred to.
