Abstract

522,501. Spray-producers. HIGGINS, H. R. Dec. 14, 1938, No. 36459. [Class 69 (iii)] A liquid spraying apparatus comprises a pump 9 and a spraying-head 7 incorporating a manually operated control valve 21 assembled in a single unit, the unit being-adapted for insertion into a liquid container. The container 1 may be of frusto-conical form having a dished lid 3 forming a filling funnel in the centre of which is fixed a tube 4 slotted at 5 and having a screwed collar 6 at the upper end. A casting 22 carrying a spray head 7 and a housing 8 for a pump 9 screws into the collar 6. The pump housing serves as a handle for the apparatus. The pump 9, valve 12 and spray head 21 are of the kind described in Specification 457,029, [Group XXVIII].
