Abstract
521,469. Heating feedwater. GREEN & SON, Ltd., E., and LIVSEY, H. Nov. 21, 1938, No. 33791. [Class 64 (iii)] In an economizer comprising parallel tubes 1 connected at their ends by detachable bends and supported by end blocks or plates 4 forming walls as described in Specification 415,310, the tubes are supported at points intermediate their ends by members 10 similar in shape to the blocks 4, the members forming a wall which rests upon a cross beam 13. The blocks and the intermediate members 10 are slidably mounted on collars 5 on the tubes and are each made in two portions secured together by bolts to facilitate fitting and removal.
