521,401. Bituminous compositions containing indiarubber. MYLES, A. J., CLARE & CO., Ltd., R. S., and CHALLONER & WETTERN, Ltd. Nov. 15, 1938, No. 33133. [Class 22] A rubber-bitumen mixture made in any manner and containing not more than 6 per cent. of rubber is improved as to adhesiveness by the addition of a metallic salt of an organic. acid, e.g. zinc oleate. The salt may be added as a suspension in a spirit medium or as a solution in oil to the bitumen before or after its admixture with the rubber.
