520,754. Centrifugal spinning-pots. I. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES. Oct. 31, 1938, No. 31433. Convention date, Oct. 30, 1937. [Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Group II] A centrifugal spinning-pot for artificial silk has a non- perforated body against which the spinning cake is laid, and is provided with an upper groove 1 to receive the cover. This groove has openings with closely fitted plugs 2 having perforations for the escape of acid. The plugs may be lacquered at the same time as the pot. In the modification shown in Fig. 2, a soft rubber rings fits in the groove 1 and perforated teats 3 on the ring protrude through the openings from the groove.
