Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 20, 1934]. [Class 120 (ii)] [See also Group II] A centrifugal spinning-pot has a body 1 with smooth inner walls, and a cover with resilient material 2 capable of expanding under the action of centrifugal force to bear against the wall of the pot without the aid of any auxiliary securing means. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the resilient material 2 has a flange to rest on the rim of the pot, and is fitted round a core 3 of hard rubber, while in the modification shown in Fig. 2, the material 2 is fitted in a recess beneath a flange in the hard part 3 of the cover.
