518,231. Woven fabrics, BARRELL, W. A. Aug. 17, 1938, No. 24218. Convention date, Sept. 3, 1937. [Class 142 (iv)] A paper machine dryer felt has two plain weave plies a, b, c and d, e, f connected by binder warp threads g, the face ply warp threads being more numerous than those in the back ply warp threads which may be larger and heavier. The back ply is thus. porous, whilst the crowding of the face ply warp threads prevents change of width of the felt when in use. U.S.A, Specifications 636,482 and 2,047,542 and 2,047,610 are referred to.
