[Class 70] [Also in Group IV] In the preparation of moulding mixtures comprising a binder and filler, the filler is consolidated by pressure prior to the step of incorporating the filler with the main bulk of the binder. A small proportion of the binder as well as the other composition ingredients such as colouring matters, lubricants and hardening agents may be added before the consolidation. Specified binders include resin and rubber.
