[Class 52 (iv)] In a spring assembly employing conical upholstery springs with their upper ends interwoven with a mesh surface the lower ends of the springs are provided with a terminal coil 5 larger than the end turn of the conical part of the spring to which turn tension springs 6 are secured running from front to back of the seat, additional springs or spacing strips 7 may be provided in the transverse direction.
