Abstract

348,298. Spring mattresses and cushions. CHAMBERLAIN, KING, & JONES, Ltd. and REDFERN, W. E., 27, Union Street, Birmingham. March 21, 1930, No. 9050. [Class 52 (iv).] Upholstery springs 1 are connected in groups to endplates 3 for assembly with or without fabric pockets. The axis of the individual springs are parallel and the springs may be panel-shaped, conical, &c. The plates are cut away, as at 4, for greater resiliency and the ends of the springs are flat and riveted to the plates or an end, e.g. 8, Fig. 5, may pass into the pressed-down part 7 between two slits in the plate.
