[Class 97 (i)] The rear tunnel of a structure comprising a projection screen, a viewing tunnel with a flared mouth, and a rear light-shielding tunnel, has parallel walls, and the whole structure is compact and self-contained; the structure may be collapsable, masks and extension flaps may be provided, and an opaque screen may be mountable in front of the translucent screen. As shown, a frosted glass or cellulose screen 1 is mounted in a frame 2 provided with front and rear tunnels 3, 4 respectively. The tunnels are of plywood strengthened by corner fillets 8, have dull black interiors, and have feet 9 for support on a table, with or without height adjustment means, or legs standing on the floor. The front tunnel 4 has divergent side walls 5, a sloping bottom wall 7 and a horizontal top wall 6. The rear tunnel has parallel walls which may be a little shorter than the height of the screen, and extension flaps, either hinged or detachably secured by clips, may be provided on the walls, or masks having central openings of various sizes may be interchangeably fitted on the mouth of the tunnel. An opaque screen 13, housed in grooves in the feet 9 when not in use, may be held by a channel 10 and turn-buttons 11 in front of the screen 1. A collapsable construction having hinged tunnel walls is described. If the structure is to rest on a table the bottom walls of the tunnels may be omitted.
