[Class 28 (ii)] A knife for a meatchopping machine has a cutting-edge formed partly or wholly of teeth 4 of substantially triangular configuration having their tips 4c arranged upon an imaginary curved line which is eccentric to the centre of rotation c of the knife and the bisecting lines l of which triangular teeth are non-radial with relation to the said centre of rotation. The rear end of the knife is formed as a circular part 3x concentric with the centre C. In operation, the knife performs a simultaneous cutting and kneading action upon the material.
