[Class 28 (ii)] In a slicing-machine having a substanceholder adapted to be fed towards the slicing plane, tiltable means are provided which are normally housed below the substance-holder and are adapted when the substance-holder is removed to hold the substance and feed it at a constant inclination and a variable inclination selectively, to the normal direction of feed. The machine is as described in Specification 511,703. Specifications 511,705 and 511,719 also are referred to.
