[Class 106 (i)] [Also in Group XV] A device for registering scores at games such as darts, cricket, billiards, of the kind comprising concentric discs and a score indicator showing units, tens and hundreds &c. and a transfer or carry-over device has the units and tens discs g, d, seated on concentric ribs b<1>, b<3> of the back member b of a case and the hundreds disc f mounted on a spindle b<2> integral with the member. Finger recesses k on the discs g, d, are accessible for partially rotating the discs through slots i, i<1>, Fig. 1, and 11, the selected score number is shown beneath the windows e, e<2> by one of a duplicate set of digits in the front face af each disc. The disc f has a boss f<1> which may be used for hand-setting. To provide for the carry over units to tons the disc g has two spring-pressed pawls l Fig. 6, which are each permitted once in a revolution by a recess b<5> in the rib b<3> to engage a tooth d<2> on the disc d and rotate it to show the next digit, Fig. 10. The hundreds disc f is advanced twice in each revolution of the disc d by a spring - controlled annular member m eccentrically pivoted to the casing at m<1> and provided with a spring- controlled pawl o, when the tappet n drops into one of the recesses d<4> on the disc d. The disc f is then held by a spring retainer m<2>. A slotted spring-pressed sliding block p positioned by the pin n<1> frictionally engages the ring d. The device as shown may be used for darts the game score being set on the dial and individual scores being deducted by operation of the discs as described one device being used for each side. The two parts of the case are bolted together and clips c<1> secured by the bolts serve for fixing to a wall &c. The case is preferably made of synthetic resin.
