505,961. Welding-jacketed containers. ENAMELLED METAL PRODUCTS CORPORATION (1933), Ltd., and BURNS, W. L. Oct. 11, 1938, No. 29392. [Classes 83 (ii) and 83 (iv)] Uniting by fusion.-In order to prevent the pressure of steam or other heating fluid from tearing the jacket I from a container 3 used for food manufacture or otherwise, an annular member 2 is welded to the jacket and container. That part of jacket adjacent the joint and the member 2 are preferably both truncated cones the apiees being directed towards opposite ends of the container 3 to which the members 1, 2 are welded.
