505,537. Parquet slabs. REISS, E. Sept. 20, 1938, No. 27470. [Class 87 (i)] A parquet slab comprises thin hard wood 5, which may be in the form of strips, secured by adhesive such as glue, asphalt or a cement to a foundation consisting of a soft wood frame 1 enclosing a slab 10 of woody matter and a binder such magnesium chloride and cement. Grooves 2, 3 are provided in the frame 1 to receive respectively feathers and asphalt &c. in which the slab is laid.
