575,286. Building slabs. HITCHINS, W. G. Nov. 11, 1943, No. 18773. [Class 87 (i)] A hollow building slab consisting of outer surfaces of plaster board 1, 2 secured to timber frames 3, 4 is provided with two or more parallel grooves 5, 6 on the edges of the frames enabling the slabs to be assembled with timber tongues or dowels 8, 9 laid respectively in the grooves horizontally and vertically so that horizontal tongues do not interfere with vertical tongues. In the slab shown each plaster board is secured to a separate frame and a thin layer 7 of bitu minous felt glued betweer them. Specification 259,936, [Class 87 (i)], is referred to.
