[Class 46] [Also in Group XVII] A strainer is formed of crinkled wires 1 clamped in a ferrule 2 in which is secured also the lower end of a doubled spring wire member 3 which extends through the wires 1 and serves to hold the strainer in position. The member 3 is cranked at 7, 8, and the outer end 6 serves as a handle to facilitate the removal of the strainer and functions also as a drip-catcher.
