505,364. Electric - lamp stands. WADE, W. E. Nov. 27, 1937, No. 29690. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iii)] The electric - lamp holder (not shown) is mounted in an aperture 19 in the upper part 18 of a support so that the flexible lead enters from the top, the part 18 being pivoted at 20 to a lower part 16 connected by hinged links 22, 24 to opposite sides of the column 9 so that the lamp can be displaced vertically and horizontally as well as angularly. The pivot pins 25 may be mounted on depend ing ears of a plate fixed to the column or on steel brackets 37, fixed by screws to, and formed at the ends with prongs to bite into, the column. Tie-bars 46 may be provided.
