Classes 39(ii), 39(iii), 75(iii), and 75(iv) A portable electric lamp, adaptable for use as a bed-warmer, has a lampholdercarrying reflector 3 pivotally supported on a weighted base 1 by lazy tongs 4, 5, provided one at each end of the base 1, so that the reflector may be raised and angularly adjusted about its longitudinal axis for use as a lamp, or lowered on to the base 1 to form a closed container therewith for use as a bedwarmer. The lamp may be fed from mains supply, the base 1 and/or reflector 3 being recessed to receive a lead 10, or from a battery housed in the base 1. The base 1, which may be of metal or plastic, may have a raised frame 2 to locate the reflector 3 in its closed position.
